Virtual Event

Celebrate Spring with HRC Greater Washington DC in a cherry blossom inspired virtual cooking class led by local Chefs Erik Bruner-Yang and Marcelle Afram. Merging their Tawainese, Japanese, and Palestinian cooking styles, Chefs Erik and Marcelle will lead you in preparing a three-course menu for two comprised of traditional Japanese Onigiri, scallion pancakes with sour cherry romanesco, and homemade cannoli for dessert. You will receive a custom meal-kit with ingredients and tools needed for the virtual cooking class. Event proceeds go towards HRC’s work to achieve equality for all LGBTQ+ people. The menu is vegetarian and serves two. Further pickup instructions will be sent via email prior to event. This event is virtual and the Zoom link will be sent via email the week of the event. If you are a person with a disability, or are otherwise unable to pick up your mealkit, please email [email protected] for alternate arrangements. The mealkit is $40, or $10 just to view the class without the mealkit. Mealkit pickup is in-person at Maketto, 1351 H Street NE on Monday, April 26th.
