Austrian Wine Week Dinner at CUT DC

Test As part of a multi-city series, Austrian Wine Week arrives in DC. for one night only, bringing together Wolfgang Puck and some of Austria’s most acclaimed winemakers.

The evening begins with a reception, followed by a multi-course dinner with curated wine pairings from leading producers across the Wachau and Burgenland regions. Each course is introduced with insight into origin, craftsmanship, and vintage. Dishes include a poached Santa Barbara prawns; steamed wild Columbia River king salmon; Wolfgang’s classic cheese ravioli with brown butter and caviar; roasted Wolfe Ranch quail with white asparagus; a duo of Snake River Farm Wagyu beef: New York steak with morels and grilled beef tongue with ramp chimichurri; and for dessert: Kaiserschmarrn with Harry’s Berry Strawberries. 

Participating wineries include Kracher, Knoll, Prager, F.X. Pichler, and Hirtzberger, with standout pairings such as Grüner Veltliner Federspiel, Riesling Smaragd selections, and rare dessert wines including Trockenbeerenauslese.

Wolfgang Puck and Byron Lazaroff-Puck will be in attendance, guiding guests through the evening alongside participating winemakers.
