Cheesetique Meet the Winemaker: Catena Everyday

Cheesetique Del Ray will host a guided wine tasting in the Wine Library on Tuesday, April 21 at 7pm. Priced at $45 per person, the experience includes five wines paired with five bites, highlighting the expressive and approachable style of Argentina’s renowned Catena winery. Guests are encouraged to pair this event with the “Catena Top Tier” tasting in May for a deeper dive into the winery’s philosophy. Dante Sgroi, a member of the Catena family and son of winemaker Laura Catena, will lead the evening, sharing insight into how the winery captures the influence of place, altitude, and heritage. Founded in Mendoza at the foothills of the Andes, Catena Zapata is known for redefining Argentine wine through its high-altitude vineyards and distinctive Appellation wines.
