LET’S TALK BEER: A TAP TAKEOVER + PANEL DISCUSSION WITH EGGENBERG & SCHILLING!

Shelter at The Roost will host a special evening of beer on Thursday, April 23, featuring a tap takeover and a lager-focused panel discussion with Brauerei Schloss Eggenberg and Schilling Beer Company. The tap takeover will run from 4:00 PM to close, followed by the panel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The discussion will feature Karl Stöhr, 8th generation owner of Eggenberg, alongside Schilling Beer Company’s CEO and Co-Founder Jeff Cozzens and Technical Director and Co-Founder John Lenzini, with moderation by Greg Engert, NRG Beverage Director and Partner. Guests will hear insights into the history of European-style lager brewing, the stories behind each brewery, and the philosophies that shape their approach to beer. Admission is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with optional $10 tickets on Eventbrite offering a guaranteed seat and a full pour of any featured beer.
