Howl-O-Ween Bar(k) Crawl at The Yards

The Yards invites Washingtonians and their furry friends to a spooktacular evening of tail-wagging fun at the annual Howl-O-Ween Bar(k) Crawl on Wednesday, October 15th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. The Yards’ outdoor patios will transform into a Halloween playground for pups and their humans, complete with festive cocktails, bites, and photo-worthy moments.

Guests can crawl at their own pace between participating restaurants and bars, each offering specialty dog-themed cocktails and happy hour bites available for purchase. Along the way, attendees will enjoy free pup perks such as Halloween treats, bandanas, tennis balls, and doggie bags (while supplies last). Costumes are highly encouraged—snap a photo of your costumed pup, share with #BarkCrawl, and tag @TheYardsDC for a chance to win a $100 gift card to a Yards restaurant.

Participating restaurants include Chloe, Emmy Squared, La Famosa, Bluejacket, District Winery, Agua 301, and Trouble Bird, each offering creative themed cocktails and bites—from Chloe’s Fly Ball cocktail and Dog Biscuit scallion bread with honey butter, to Emmy Squared’s Bloodhound Margarita and Mutt Lovers Mayhem Pizza. Other highlights include Mini Angus Sliders at La Famosa, Bratwurst with beer mustard at Bluejacket, and Paw-stor Tacos at Agua 301.

The event is free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase. Giveaways are first-come, first-served, and guests are asked to be respectful of shared community spaces and clean up after their pets. The rain date is October 22, 2025.
