Afghan Cultural Bazaar in Honor of Lapis’s 10 Year Anniversary

In honor of Lapis’s 10 Year anniversary, the MICHELIN Bib-Gourmand restaurant will host its first-ever Afghan Cultural Bazaar! The two-day event will be a celebration of heritage and artistry featuring local Afghan-American talent, from visual art and handmade jewelry to traditional rugs and henna. The kick-off cocktail reception on Saturday, May 17, will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will include guest speakers, artists, traditional Afghan dancers, and a live DJ — all paired with the beloved food and drinks that define the Lapis experience from Chef Shamim Popal.
