Fundraising Food Drive On International Women's Day

Three food businesses operating out of the collaborative kitchen space will partner on a fundraising food drive this International Women’s Day. In an ongoing effort to support women (Saya and Prescription Chicken are both women-owned), the three businesses will provide the clients of House of Ruth with warm dinner by donating Bolivian salteñas, hot chicken soup, and doughnuts. You can also support as 20% of the day’s sales from all three kitchens will be donated in the value of food. Washington, DC-based House of Ruth offers comprehensive services and housing for women and children, ranging from supportive housing for families and single women in crisis, to developmental daycare for homeless children, and free counseling services to anyone who has been a victim of domestic violence.
