Mardi Pardi

On Fat Tuesday, Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery becomes the DMV’s only Mardi Gras Headquarters, transforming into a Bayou Gras Mardi Pardi from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat (and drink) celebration featuring authentic New Orleans parade food, festive cocktails, frozen daiquiris, Abita beers, and live jazz by The District Brass Band, all curated by New Orleans native Chef David Guas. Bayou Bakery will also offer regular service with Mardi Gras specials from 7:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m., but will close from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. to prep for the party. Tickets are required for the evening event and cost $55.00 for all-you-can-eat food (including Crawfish Monica, gumbo, jambalaya, red beans & rice, beignets, King Cake, and more with vegetarian options), $85.00 for all-you-can-eat + drink (including Carnival cocktails, frozen daiquiris, and beer), and $25.00 for children under 12. Desserts like authentic New Orleans pralines will be available à la carte, and guests will receive a complimentary Mardi Gras souvenir cup and classic purple, green, and gold beads.
