- As some of you may know, JewFro refers to a curly, bushy hairstyle worn by Ashkenazi Jews – Not in Richmond - Ari Augenbaum’s & Nar Hovanian’s restaurant, Jew Fro, is where Jewish foods meet African flavors.
- Naples (Italy, not Florida) native Giulio Adriani is a seven-time World Pizza Champion who is the only pizzamaker ever awarded a green card for achievements in pizza business from the United States. Now also making NY-Style pizza at Slice & Pie on 14th.
- Jackie Greenbaum has brought a lot of fun & good food to the area’s dining scene for years, (Bar Charley, Quarry House Tavern, etc) and now Charley Prime Foods in Rio. Steak in teh suburbs!
