FOODIE & the beast: March 10, 2024
Foodie & The Beast Springs Forward This Morning
David aka The Beast had the show all to himself today, hard for him to screw it up considering the incredible people in studio
- We don’t need a special month to celebrate women but we are leaning in and featuring two of the spirits industry’s leading lights, Chanel Turner of Global Alliance Distribution, FOU-DRE VODKA and The Black Owned Wine and Spirits Festival AND Kimberly La Rose, co-founder of Wisher Vodka.
- Get your sweet tooth ready. Two of DC’s great pastry chefs serve deliciously at their restaurants and now are collaborating together with other fabulous women on an upcoming tea. Moon Rabbit’s Susan Bae and Duck & The Peache’s Rochelle Cooper.
- Let’s go boating this spring! Michelin Star-awarded Chef, sommelier, and yachtsman Troy Knapp, brings his passion for great food and wine to different kind of world-class dining experience – this one actually on the DC waterways. Troy is the Owner and Experience Curator at Sea Table DC – an intimate, fine dining, private yacht experience.
- OK, so as much as it’s still women’s History Month, a pretty famous guy is about to take the stage on March 17th. Yes, it’s our old buddy St. Patrick, whose day is filled with wearing a lot of green stuff, drinking a lot of green stuff and celebrating the fact that there are no snakes in Ireland. Brian Nixon, General Manager, McClellan’s Retreat is in with news of something different and very cool for St. Paddy’s Day that doesn’t involve green beer, inappropriately named shots, and long waits at the bar to get your drinks.
Foodie & The Beast - Every Sunday at 11AM on 1500AM or
