Test Award-winning pizzeria Slice & Pie from master pizzaiolo Giulio Adriani has opened its third DC-area location. The roughly 1,200 square foot space is the largest of Slice & Pie’s locations and dedicates half of its space to a glass-enclosed dough production facility for Slice & Pie’s stores at 14th Street and Union Market (and a soon-to-open fourth location at The Parks at Walter Reed). Menu highlights include the Burrata Pie topped with California tomato sauce, fresh burrata, basil, and olive oil; a new Sicilian-Style Upside Down Detroit Pie with homemade spicy vodka sauce and basil; aBrisket Pie with a white garlic base, caramelized and pickled onions, and smoked brisket from Money Muscle BBQ; and a newSopranos-inspired Satriale's Sandwich made with vinegar yellow and red peppers, provolone, and sweet and spicy capicola. Slice & Pie’s H Street location is open Mondays - Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
