The 2024 Nominations Are Open for Black Women in Food Awards — It’s that time, the Black Women in Food Awards are accepting nominations for Black women making exceptional contributions in the food and beverage industry.
This year, the nomination categories have been expanded to recognize restaurateurs among eight other categories. The “Restaurateur” category honors women who use their entrepreneurial skills and business acumen to launch and grow impactful restaurant businesses. The other categories recognize diverse food and beverage industry segments, from food justice and culinary arts to innovation, content creation, product development, and media.
The 2024 Awards honorees will be announced in March 2024, during Women’s History Month. They will have access to a network of past Black women leaders in the food and beverage industry, events, grant opportunities, and resources for their personal and professional growth.
The 2024 call for nominations closes on December 11, 2023. So this is your moment! Nominations can be submitted here.
