Rosé Lovers, The Annual War of the Rosés is in Play

Buzz
Let the battle of the bottles begin! War of the Rosés, an annual restaurant industry fundraiser and competition, which started as a friendly rivalry between bars, has officially kicked off. Now in its sixth year, War of the Rosés is excited to welcome participants new and old and will boast a total of 18 bars and restaurants, all of which donate 10% of specific rosé offerings for the month of July to a diverse range of charitable causes.

Here’s how it works: each participating restaurant designates a charity of choice and donates 5% of all rosé sales (can include wine, froze, rosé-based cocktails or pink non-alcoholic drinks) and another 5% goes to the winning restaurant’s designated charity. The winner of the friendly competition is the business that sells the most of their War of the Rosé specials in July, and their designated charity benefits the most. Since its inception in 2018, War of the Rosés has raised over $27,000 for area charities. The competition is the brainchild of Ralph Brabham and Drew Porterfield, co-owners of Beau Thai and BKK Cookshop, who now also co-own Jane Jane with Jean-Paul “JP” Sabatier.
