A Few Days Left of DC Cocktail Week
The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington is ringing in the holiday season with their annual DC Cocktail Week. From Tuesday, November 28, through Tuesday, December 5, the seven-day cocktail celebration shakes and stirs right up to the Repeal Day Ball, marking the 90th anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition in the United States in 1933. Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages paired with food bites, cocktail classes, tasting dinners, happy hours, and other happenings at restaurants throughout the region are for the taking and partaking.
Over 85 restaurants and venues will participate all week long including 2023 RAMMY Award Winners Service Bar (Cocktail Program of the Year) (see our Behind The Counter with Service Bar’s Chad Spangler), Tiki on 18th (Favorite Gathering Spot), Amazonia (New Restaurant of the Year), and Urban Roast (Best Brunch). Other returning favorites include Bresca, Estuary, Laos in Town, and Lulu’s Winegarden in DC, Jiwa Singapura and Wren in Tysons, Virginia, and J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse in Silver Spring, Maryland.
So many special events and in-house happenings will take place throughout the week including happy hours and cocktail making classes. AND, cocktail enthusiasts can enter to win tickets to Enchant at Nationals Park this holiday season by posting in-feed Instagram photos of their DC Cocktail Week orders and tagging @RAMWdc and @EnchantWDC.
