The Adams Morgan Apple Festival returns on October 24, bringing the flavors and festivities of fall to the neighborhood. The annual celebration features an heirloom apple tasting from Licking Creek Bend Farm and a homemade apple pie baking contest judged by local leaders. Festival-goers can purchase slices of pie, enjoy seasonal specials from local businesses, and soak up the fall atmosphere near the Adams Morgan Farmers Market. The event is free and open to all, with pie slices available while supplies last and 100% of this year’s proceeds benefiting Platform of Hope. Festivities will take place at Unity Park, at the intersection of Columbia Road and Euclid Street NW, and at The LINE DC, located at 1770 Euclid Street NW. Click HERE for more information.
