As Bastille Day approaches on July 14, 2025, Easton's historic downtown transforms into a slice of Paris along Maryland's Eastern Shore. Bluepoint Hospitality, led by 2024 James Beard Award winner Harley Peet, presents a trio of enchanting, French-inspired venues that capture the essence of Parisian joie de vivre.
P. Bordier Pâtisserie and Crêperie welcomes guests with its rose-colored ambiance and hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper, offering Raspberry Tarts, Chocolate Éclairs, and the signature Crêpe Suzette with orange caramel and vanilla ice cream.
Next door, BONHEUR pays tribute to Coco Chanel with vibrant Gracie Studio wallpaper and golden lampshades reminiscent of pleated dresses. The Hazelnut Chocolate Praline Ice Cream features crunchy caramelized praline woven throughout like Chanel's iconic bouclé tweed, while Besserat de Bellefon Brut Rosé offers the perfect celebratory sip.
Guests can complete the French fantasy at The Stewart, home to one of the Mid-Atlantic's most comprehensive Champagne collections. Highlights include the Champagne Salon Vertical 2004–2007 from Le Mesnil's Grand Cru vineyards, paired with Russ & Daughters caviar or artisanal cheeses like Tomme Crayeuse and Bleu d'Auvergne.
