Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen is proud to partner with ArtsFairfax and Fairfax County Poet Laureate Angelique Palmer for a one-of-a-kind celebration of National Poetry Month. Palmer — a performance poet, kindergarten teacher, spoken word instructor at Wilkes University, and author of two acclaimed collections, The Chambermaid’s Style Guide and Also Dark — has spent her career proving that poetry belongs everywhere. She also makes her own ice cream, which tells you everything you need to know about a woman who understands that the best art is something you can taste.
Chef David Guas knows the same thing. Together, they speak the same mother tongue. On April 14th that language comes to Neutral Ground Bar for a Social Hour Drink Special and a Poetry Reading from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with a $40.00 three course prix-fixe dinner menu available for dinner.
