Preview Reading of The American Five at Salamander Middleburg

Salamander Middleburg will host an intimate preview reading of The American Five, a powerful new play about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the visionary circle who helped shape the iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. Before its world premiere at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C., guests are invited to experience this special evening on Saturday, August 23, from 7–9 PM in The Library at Salamander Middleburg.
The event begins with a wine reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a staged reading of The American Five with performances by Ro Boddie, Renea S. Brown, Stephen Conrad Moore, Aaron Bliden, and Yao Dogbe. The evening concludes with an engaging Q&A with the actors, playwright Chess Jakobs, and director Aaron Posner.
