Calling All Pie Bakers and Pie Eaters! The Takoma Park Farmers Market Annual Pie Contest on Laurel Ave. There are two ways to participate: BAKE Enter your best pie using any seasonal ingredient found at the market - sweet or savory! Pies will be judged by celebrity judges and prizes will be awarded. EAT At the conclusion of the contest, all of the delicious pies are sliced and offered to the public for a donation. All donations received go to the Takoma Park Farmers Market Federal Nutrition Benefit Match Program to increase nutrition benefits used at the market.
