DC Cocktail Festival

The District’s favorite cocktail competition, featuring 15 of DC’s best bars, takes over Dock5 at Union Market on Saturday, March 28th from 12:00 to 6:30 p.m. The DC Cocktail Festival features specialty concoctions from the District’s leading bars, including The Haymaker, Doi Moi, Chicken+Whiskey, Reynolds, Dirty Habit, Alchemist and El Presidente. The event features a special showcase of craft spirits plus live entertainment and delicious cuisine.

The bars and distilleries are combining forces to highlight the best cocktails from the
District’s vibrant bar scene. Guests will sample the drinks and then vote on their favorite, with the winner declared DC’s Best Cocktail; the winner takes home a $1,000 cash prize. Participating producers include: St. George Spirits, Koval Distillery, Catoctin Creek, Smugglers Rhum, Dad’s Hat Rye, T Capri Tequila, Krave Cocktail Seltzer, CNI Brands, Lily Pond Group, Alchy Cocktails, and Karahiyo Spirits. Guests will also enjoy live music from DJ Corey Curtin. The featured bars also include: The Commodore, Metrobar, Nue, The Craft, Last Call, Cordelia Fish Bar and Doyle Bar.

The event, spread out over two separate sessions, allows guests to enjoy a wide array of cocktails and spirits, including whiskeys, gins, rums, absinthes, moonshines, and more, while learning about the distillery process directly from Virginia’s leading producers.
