GUIDED TRAPPIST ALE TASTING WITH GREG ENGERT at The Sovereign

On Sunday, March 15, The Sovereign will host an intimate private guided tasting dedicated to Trappist ales, led by NRG Beverage Director Greg Engert. Guests will be guided through nine of Engert’s favorite Trappist selections while learning about the unique history and strict brewing traditions behind these rare beers. Trappist beer must be brewed by, or under the supervision of, monks of the Cistercians of the Strict Observance within the walls of a Trappist monastery and in accordance with the standards of the International Trappist Association. During the tasting, attendees will explore a range of these distinctive ales, including a special three-year vertical tasting of Orval. The experience begins at 12:00 PM and includes nine tasting pours per guest. Tickets are $55 per person, excluding taxes and fees. Click HERE to grab your tickets.
