Holi in The District

Union Market District will celebrate the vibrant Festival of Colors with its fourth annual Holi celebration on Friday, March 13 at The Plaza behind Union Market. In partnership with Chai Pani and RASA, the evening will feature authentic Indian cuisine, music, dancing, cocktails, and lively festivities centered around the joyful tradition of color throwing. Guests are encouraged to arrive around 5:45 PM, when they will receive a satchel of colored powder and a T-shirt while supplies last, before the official color throw begins at 6 PM. From 6:15 to 8 PM, attendees can enjoy a live DJ set by Elite Entertainment alongside live dhol performances by Dholi Ram. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from vendors including RASA, Chai Pani, Malai Ice Cream, Karravaan, Buffalo & Bergen, Doosra, and Keya’s Snacks, while Union Market remains open for additional dining and shopping. Guests are encouraged to wear light clothing they don’t mind getting colorful—while the powder is washable and non-toxic.
