National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® 2026

The National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade®, presented by Events DC, returns on April 11 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM, bringing one of Washington, DC’s largest and most anticipated spectator events to Constitution Avenue. Stretching for 10 blocks, the parade features giant colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the country, celebrity entertainers, and lively performers in a vibrant celebration of music and showmanship that takes place only once each year during the Festival. Spectators can enjoy the parade rain or shine, either by standing along the route for free or reserving seats in the designated grandstands. Grandstand seating requires a ticket for each guest, except children under two, who may sit on the lap of a ticket holder.
