Picnic Theater Company presents: Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Picnic Theater Company returns this fall with Invasion of the Body Snatchers, a parody sequel to the iconic 1950s and 1970s sci-fi classics. Set in the not-so-distant future, the production follows a world under siege as mysterious forces begin taking over human minds, leaving governments, scientists, and secret operatives racing against time to save humanity—or risk becoming one of them. Directed by Steve Rochlin, this fast-paced, hilariously clever blend of sci-fi and satire features an ensemble cast including Sara Cook, Nova Daly, Chris Fowler, Riikka Hietajarvi, Nihal Krishan, Molly Martinez, Meridith McGraw, Alexa Newlin, Antonio Olivo, Marisela Ramirez, Amirah Sequeira, Christina Sevilla, Cristobal Vasquez, and David White. Performances take place November 5–7 at DC’s coolest underground venue, Dupont Underground, with cocktails at 6 PM and the 90-minute show beginning at 7 PM.
