CHEF DANNY LLEDÓ AWARDED THE ACCÈSIT AWARD AT THE 59TH ANNUAL PAELLA VALENCIANA DE SUECA INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Internationally award-winning Chef Danny Lledó, owner of Slate Wine Bar and the new Valencian fine-dining concept Xiquet, at 2404 Wisconsin Ave, NW, 20007, is pleased to receive an Accèsit award from the highly competitive 59th Annual Paella Valenciana de Sueca International Competition. Lledó, representing the United States, was one of 40 paella chefs from around the world who qualified to compete. In the 59-year history of the competition, only three Americans have placed in this International Spanish competition. Lledó is proud to be amongst this elite group of chefs which includes Carlos Palomar and Jesus Romero.
