This year, Washington is in need of a serious dose of cheer and local restaurants are delivering with 12 Days of Christmas treats, festive to-go packages, and special holiday hours. Below are full details on holiday happenings at Fight Club. Capitol Hill’s Fight Club is rolling out The 12 Days of Christmas with a new special inspired by the classic holiday song every two days. The Santa of sandwiches, Andrew Market, and the Fight Club elves have created food-and booze-filled “gifts” including: 1st Day of Christmas: Peter in a Pear Tree with Irish whiskey, pear shrub, lemon, and bubbles; 2nd Day of Christmas: Turtle “Dove” Bars- vanilla caramel swirl ice cream bars dipped in chocolate; 3rd Day of Christmas: 3 French Hens- A French 75 made with cognac, lemon, ginger syrup and  sparkling wine; 4th Day of Christmas: 4 calling birds- A Banh Mi featuring smoked duck confit, foie and chicken liver pate, carrot broccoli slaw and wild turkey vin; 5th Day of Christmas: 5 Golden Rings-  golden ale-battered onions, sweet onion, blackened horseradish ranch and fermented chili powder; 6th Day of Christmas: 6 Geese a-laying- Golden Goose buns with roasted goose, radish scallion salad and sweet chili vinegar; 7th Day of Christmas: Swans a-swimming- Sparkling Aviation, Sipsmith gin, crème de violate, maraschino, lemon and bubbles; 8th Day of Christmas: Maids a-milking- Milk punch featuring rye, montenegro, allspice dram and lemon; 9th Day of Christmas: Ladies Dancing- Sparkling chrysanthemum, dry vermouth, benedictine, gin, orange bitters and absinthe; 10th Day of Christmas: Lords a-leaping- Rabbit arancini stuffed with saffron rice, braised rabbit, lemon whipped ricotta and chives; 11th Day of Christmas: Pipers piping-  Gingerbread funnel cake topped with cream cheese frosting and candy cane crumbles; 12th Day of Christmas: Drummers drumming- Fried Chicken Plate loaded with collard greens, mac and cheese and a scratch-made biscuit. The 12 Days of Christmas specials are available for carryout, patio service, and delivery.
