The full lineup is now available for the 2019 March on Washington Film Festival! With more than 20 events over seven days, the annual flagship festival will be kicking off on September 22 with a special screening of American soul singer Aretha Franklin's live gospel album Amazing Grace, followed by the Inaugural Awards Gala on September 23, where four women visionary leaders will be honored for their role in the fight for civil rights. They include Nikki Giovanni, Rep. Terri Sewell, Peggy Wallace Kennedy and Dr. Joyce Ladner. Throughout the week-long festival, prepare to immerse yourself in thought-provoking film screenings, panel discussions, musical performances, and art exhibits that capture the true heroes and events of our nation’s Civil Rights Movement then and now.
