Join Tea Drunk virtually for a fun evening of mooncake making demonstrations and drinking tea. Tea Drunk is hosting an interactive and tasty virtual event with Chef Donovan from Daily Provisions demonstrating how to make mooncakes and pairing them with the teas in the Moon Festival Bundle. There will be a link sent to Educational Tea Club members for priority access. Public sign-ups will go live early this week. To participate, Tea Drunk encourages you to purchase a Moon Festival Bundle, so you have tea to drink along for the mooncake demonstration. You will also receive an ingredient list if you want to experience making mooncakes at home with Donovan. Moon Festival (or Mid-Autumn Festival) is a beloved Chinese holiday when people and the moon reunite to form a full circle. It's a joyous occasion, focusing on family, abundance, and harvest, kind of similar to a Thanksgiving Day feeling in the U.S. Right around the Moon Festival (September 21st this year,) the full moon is said to be the fullest and roundest of the year. Many people celebrate by reading poetry to the moon, feasting with family, eating mooncakes, and drinking tea. Tea Drunk has created a limited-run bundle with teas for this joyous occasion that you can enjoy and share with family and friends under the full moon. This bundle would make a great gift to give to anyone celebrating the holiday. This is a free virtual event, but capacity is limited. The Moon Festival Bundle is priced at $66, if you choose to participate in the tea drinking. Online 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 19th. For more information, please click here.
