AAPI Month with Fried Rice Collective: ChiKo with Peter Chang
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with ChiKo all month long! ChiKo will be providing all-star chef collaborations to celebrate Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to raise money for EmbraceRace, an organization supporting parents to raise brave, informed, and thoughtful children about race.
ChiKo will be featuring an all-star list of guest chefs throughout the entirety of May at each of their four locations. The guest chefs' dishes will span cuisines from Filipino, Chinese, Laotian, and Japanese. Each chef will be represented through a featured dish of their creation for an entire week with proceeds being donated to a charity of their choice/EmbraceRace.
The guest chef this week will be Peter Chang of BiHao, Q by Peter Chang, Mama Chang, and Peter Chang, and he will be featuring mouth-watering Mala chicken, a poached chicken with homemade Mala sauce.
