Astro Beer Hall Shirlington Launches Brunch Service

The recently opened Astro Beer Hall Shirlington will launch weekend brunch today. The lineup includes an array of sweet and savory dishes, with the brand’s signature doughnuts and fried chicken at the center. Hot, made to order mini cake doughnuts from the shop’s “doughnut robot” are available in six flavors, while signature warm cinnamon rolls are sure to be a hit, made from a house-made brioche and rolled with cinnamon brown sugar and honey butter, they’re topped with a cream cheese glaze and available while supplies last. You can also enjoy a unique to Shirlington offering, the Astronaut Doughnut, a yeast doughnut coated in Nutella and filled with a shot of espresso and steamed milk. A selection of sandwiches will also be available, from the classic Fried Chicken Honey to a Steak and Egg Cheesesteak to a Buffalo Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. Salads and sides round out the menu, along with special brunch cocktails including mimosas, bloody marys, Irish coffee and more. Beer offerings are extensive with local selections from the beer hall’s 24 tap lines.
