'Atatürk's Kitchen': A Special Prix-Fixe Menu at Namak

Namak will celebrate Turkish independence with a special pre-fixe dinner honoring the country’s culinary traditions and founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The four-course prix fixe menu was created by Chef Tolgahan Gülyiyen and inspired by Atatürk's Kitchen Book, which details the country’s early culinary history and personal favorite dishes of Atatürk. Some menu highlights inlcude Zeytinyağli Enginar, Ispanakli Börek, Karides Shish, Midye, and more. The special menu is available for $39.99 per person and also offers three Turkish specialty drinks, which are not included in the price of the four-course meal: the national drink Raki made with twice-distilled grapes; Turkish Coffee; and Ayran, a yogurt drink.
