Best Buddies Homecoming Gala Returns to the Ronald Reagan Building

Best Buddies in Virginia & D.C.’s annual Homecoming: Two Parties One Purpose Gala returns. The singular event features two different celebrations, with students, with and without disabilities, cutting loose on the dance floor while adult supporters enjoy their own party with a selection of culinary bites prepared by local chefs with the help of Best Buddies sous chefs. The tasting is a prelude to the annual announcement of the Champion of the Year, which honors the champion and Best Buddies mission partner team that raised the most funds and awareness for Best Buddies during 2023’s campaign. The Homecoming Gala is unique among the District’s many charitable events in that it directly involves its beneficiaries in the evening’s planning, preparation, and execution.
