BOQUERIA’S COOKBOOK DINNER SERIES
777 9th Street NW
Boqueria will bring its cookbook dinner series to DC for the first time. Special guests at the 12 seats along the sleek, open kitchen counter will watch (and dine!) as Executive Chef Marc Vidal personally prepares a 4-course meal of dishes from Boqueria: A Cookbook from Barcelona to New York, which was released last year to much acclaim. The menu, fit for a summer soiree, will highlight the best of the season’s market produce and make use of thel plancha, from Montados de Anchoas del Cantábrico (salt-cured Spanish anchovies with lemon zest, butter, and grilled toast points), to Gambas de Palamós (salt grilled, head-on peel-and-eat, prawns), and Merluza a la Plancha (grilled hake with potato “panadera”, tomato confit, grilled scallions, and black olive oil). Each course will be paired with refreshing Spanish wine selections served by beverage director Kieran Chavez. Every guest will receive their own copy of the Boqueria cookbook, personally signed that evening by Chef Marc. 7:00 p.m. $120 per person. To reserve your spot, please click here.
