Join the DC Food & Beverage Collective for a tasting journey of three bourbons through the world of these emerging bourbon artisans, each with a unique story to tell and a distinct flavor profile to savor. The bourbon tasting will lead you through the rich history of Kentucky Bourbon and into the bright future, led by global whiskey expert Chris Schmid, Senior VP of Strategic Partnerships, Presitge-Ledroit Distributing Company. To complement this exceptional bourbon experience, Chef Scott Drewno's mouthwatering fried chicken picnic box that perfectly pairs with the spirit of the South will be served. The picnic box will include a three-piece fried chicken bucket, jalapeno cornbread, tri-colored slaw and 3 bean salad. This is a happy hour that promises to immerse you in the heart of bourbon country while delighting your senses with Southern comfort food classics. Cheers to an afternoon of indulgence and discovery! All proceeds from this event will be donated to a local non-profit organization that aims to assist with food scarcity in the DMV region.
