Capital Wine School: The Many Expressions of Champagne with Caroline Hermann MW – In Person or Online

Caroline will present a range of Champagnes that highlight the new approaches to making wine from this iconic region of France. This tasting will examine different approaches to grapes/blends, oak aging of base wines, malolactic conversion, dosage levels, and aging on the lees (yeast). Participants may choose to attend in person at the Capital Wine School or online via Zoom. Online participants may pick their samples up at the Capital Wine School between 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. on December 7th, or may request shipping for an additional fee. Please note that requests for shipping must be received at least seven days prior to class. Additional information regarding curbside pickups will be emails a day or two prior to class.
