Capital Wine School: WSET Level 1 Award in Wines - In Person - August 2024

This class covers the main types of wine, the most common grape varieties, wine service, storing and serving wine, tasting technique, how to describe the smell and taste of wine, and the basics of pairing food and wine. During the class, students taste eight different wines. Those who pass the exam receive the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. Two classes are being offered in August Beginning August 10th at Crystal Palate Wine & Gourmet (4500 Pretty Lake Avenue, Suite 104, Norfolk, VA) or August 24th at Capital Wine School (5207 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Suite #7, Third Floor). $395 per person. Register for August 10th or August 24th. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each class.
