This online course will meet for one day with Jay Youmans MW, for a guided sessions by the CWS instructor and will last for 6 hours, including a 45 minute period for the examination. The class covers the main types of wine, most common grape varieties, wine service, storing and serving, tasting techniques, how to describe the smell and taste of wines, and the basis of pairing food and wine together. During the class, you will taste eight (8) different wines, and those who pass the exam will receive their WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. Class price is $375 per person and includes access to the Zoom class and recordings, as well as all eight tasting samples.
