Chef Dinner Series Featuring Chef Brian McBride

Lock 72 will be hosting guest chef Brian McBride, the founding chef of Blue Duck Tavern, one of the first farm-to-table restaurants in the country. His 4-course menu is a dazzling survey of seafood and vegetables. Noting the heavy emphasis on vegetables, McBride said that he has become a devotee of plant-based eating and that as a chef, “It’s all about creating deliciousness. Working a lot with vegetables, as I am these days, I find that you can’t cheat as easily as you can with meat; you have to really develop the flavors and textures. I love that. The food has more depth.” The cost for the dinner is $78 for the four courses (not including tax and gratuity), with an optional wine pairing for $40. The dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. each day.
