Join cocktail author and historian Philip Greene for an evening of cocktails, instruction, folklore, anecdotes and excerpts. Learn the evolution of the sour (dating back to the British Royal Navy and its celebrated “grog”), the immortal (and communal) drink known as punch, New Orleans’ Brandy Crusta, the great Tiki movement of the 1930s – 1970s (and reborn today), to other great drinks and stories. You will receive four sample-sized cocktails, plus light appetizers. Tickets are priced at $50 per person.
