Community Conversation: Discussion On The Animal Care And Control Omnibus Act

Join for a virtual discussion with Lisa LaFontaine, president and CEO of the Humane Rescue Alliance, and Mary Cheh, Ward 3 DC Councilmember on the Animal Care and Control Omnibus Act, currently under review by the DC Council. Lisa and Councilmember Cheh will be joined in their discussion of the legislation's goals by HRA's Vice President of Field Services, Chris Shindler, to discuss updates on recent Humane Law Enforcement cases that highlight needed changes to the District's animal laws.
