Complimentary Wine Tasting Experience

The Loudoun Wine Trail’s largest farm vineyard, the dramatic vistas and mountain tranquility on Doukenie Winery’s massive 400 acre estate winery is matched only by a portfolio of Virginia wines which demonstrate the breadth and complexity of Virginia-grown grapes. The family-run vineyards have been celebrated in both statewide and national wine competitions, earning eight medials in the 2019 Loudoun Wine Awards, six medals in the national 2018 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and six medals in the Virginia Governor’s Cup. This Veteran’s Day, Doukenie Winery owners Dr. George and Nicki Bazaco will pay for veterans’  tasting fees, offering American veterans and members of the military complimentary tastings of their celebrated wines. The Doukenie Winery tasting experience is a personalized experience with a wine educator who can share background on grape variety, terroir and winemaking process of each. Guests to prefer to quietly explore and analyze the wines can take comfort with the tasting in a well-appointed tasting room or outside on the patio overlooking the expansive farm.
