Derby Day Anyway & Delivered at Jack Rose Dining Saloon

Jack Rose Dining Saloon would be celebrating their 8th Annual Kentucky Derby Celebration + Viewing Party this Saturday, but with restaurants closed and the big race cancelled, they’re bringing a virtual Derby party to your home (just add your favorite seersucker and sundress). From noon to 5 p.m., Jack Rose will sell at-home Julep Kits and frozen Julep slushies from its sidewalk window. The At-Home Derby Kit ($55, serves 10) includes a 750ml bottle of pre-batched Mint Juleps made with either Bulliet Bourbon or Bardstown Bourbon (with foolproof “shake bottle and pour over ice” instructions), plus one 10lb bag of crushed ice and one bag of Fresh Mint and Powdered Sugar.
