In Italy, a common ritual to highlight great weather is spending weekend getaways in campagna (the countryside). To honor this ritual, Via Umbria has created a menu that emphasizes the best autumn seasonal ingredients that take center stage in the Italian countryside. This decadent, countryside-inspired menu includes an antipasto of mushroom salad with celeriac, porcini vinaigrette and taleggio crostini followed by housemade pappardelle with duck ragu and pecorino toscano; dishes that are perfect for a weekend escape to the green countryside of Umbria. You will be joined at every course for a description of each dish–feel free to ask questions. Each Dinner at the Chef's Table is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the things valued at Via Umbria: great food, great wine, and great people.
