Carmine’s, the family style restaurant in Penn Quarter,  is offering an Easter feast with rack of lamb and a traditional Italian Easter bread, pane di pasqua, a sweet brioche-like round loaf encircling an Easter egg. This symbolic circle of dough has a hard-boiled egg baked into its center and a cross of dough laid over the egg representing life and faith. Speckled with colorful sprinkles, the loaf is complimentary for anyone dining at Carmine's on Easter Sunday. Carmine’s is serving roasted rack of lamb with an array of oven roasted vegetables which serves 6-8 people. $84.95 ($10.61 per person).
