Empanada Madness
March E'mmm'panada Madness Taqueria Del Barrio begins Wednesday, March 3rd, and continues the entire month. Each week they are offering a unique off-menu empanada creation by chef & owner Anna Bran. Week one is the Irie Mon, a pineapple jerk chicken empanada; week two get the Weapon Mass Deliciousness with beef chili and cheddar; for week three, enjoy the Cubanitom a cuban pulled pork empanada with spicy guava sauce; finish the month with week four's empanada, the South Street, Taqueria Del Barrio's take on the Philly cheese steak with steak, peppers, onions, and cheese wiz. $14 for two empanadas and either a spicy or regular house margarita. This includes any of the menu favorites and the weekly specialty empanada. A percentage of the sales will go to Mattie Miracle Charity. The special runs through the month of March, 2021.
