With safe, local experiences full of cultural enrichment in vogue this year, Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square is inviting you to celebrate Sofitel Wine Days, a sensorial global showcase of food and wine. Embodying Sofitel’s role as the global ambassador of French style and art-de-vivre, Sofitel Wine Days is an annual program which sees Sofitel hotels around the world pay tribute to wine and French culinary heritage. The festivities take place during the traditional wine harvest period in France and offer guests an authentic opportunity to ‘Live The French Way’ through a variety of extraordinary wine experiences such as tastings, guided vineyard tours, wine pairings and more. This year will be the program’s 9th edition, demonstrating to you Sofitel’s commitment to wine through a variety of events that encourage you to make daring new discoveries, expand your knowledge and learn more about which wines suit you best, thanks to the brand's wine experts and sommeliers. Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square has partnered with Château La Mothe du Barry of Moulon, France to create French Wine Picnic Baskets.  Executive Chef Kevin Lalli has paired the wine with the perfect cheese and charcuterie selections.
