Join Slow Food DC and author Sarah Mock at one of DC's favorite dive bars to discuss the food/farm system and what you can do to improve it. Farm (and Other F Words) explores the state of farming today, and how you might approach farming differently to grow more good food, create good jobs, and achieve good environmental outcomes. Sarah will read an excerpt from her book, followed by a moderated Q&A. Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to hang out with the author and each other. Copies of the book will be available for signing and purchase. This event is free and open to the public, although please be advised that The Pug is a bar and relevant age restrictions will apply.
