This docu-concert event will celebrate the lives of the 9/11 rescue and recovery workers who lobbied Congress, while battling their own terminal illness, to get healthcare costs covered for those that worked at Ground Zero in the months following 9/11. The FealGood Foundation was founded by John Feal, who is known for his advocacy on behalf of first responders and lobbied Congress for the renewal of a 9/11 victim’s compensation fund. The lineup includes performances by Bettye LaVette, Dion, Jimmy Vivino, Mark Barden, The Smithereens with Marshall Crenshaw, and many more. The documentary shares footage that highlights the efforts of the men and women of the FeelGood Foundation, an interview with Jon Stewart, and songs by Bruce Springsteen, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Nathaniel Rateliff.
