FRESHFARM is marking their 25th anniversary by celebrating their flagship Dupont Circle Sunday Market by continuing on with their mission to build a strong-food future in the Mid-Atlantic region. FRESHFARM is a nonprofit that has played a vital role in stimulating local economy, supporting small businesses, improving equitable food access in the Washington DC area, and enriching education for DC public school students. The Anniversary celebrating will feature a variety of activities throughout the day including: a ceremonial bell ringing with VIPs from the Council of DC Mary M Cheh, Christina Henderson, and Elissa Silverman (8:30 a.m.); a free photo booth, Market Bingo!, a cooking demo hosted by storyteller, cook, and author Jonathan Bardzik; live steel drum music from player Jeremy Caesar; and the debut of the limited edition FRESHFARM at 25 product line. No tickets are required for entry, the event will be held RAIN OR SHINE from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
