Kids in the Castle is back with Story and Craft hour in the garden. Three times this summer, families are invited to explore "Immigrant Stories" and complete a craft. They'll be partnering with community organizations to bring sotries to children.
"What is Immigration?" The Heurich Immigrant Story with Director of Public Programs, Stephany
Stephany will introduce children to the concept of immigration through the lens of the people that lived and worked in the Heurich home - many of whom immigrated to the US from Germany. After she will read Lubna and Pebble and will invite the children to paint kindness rocks to be left for future visitors.
Tickets are $15 per family and can be purchased here. This event is from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
There will be two more events in this series on July 29 and August 26th
